How to Buy and Sell Shares

Buying shares

  1. Open any market
  2. Choose Yes or No
  3. Enter your amount (in PHP)
  4. Review the summary:

- Shares — how many you're getting - Average price — cost per share - Potential payout — what you get if you're right (₱1 per share)

  1. Tap Buy

Your position appears immediately in My Positions.

Selling shares

Changed your mind? Don't want to wait for resolution? You can sell anytime.

  1. Go to My Positions
  2. Tap the market you want to exit
  3. Choose Sell
  4. Enter how many shares to sell
  5. Confirm

You'll receive the current market price for your shares. If the price went up since you bought, you profit. If it went down, you take a loss.

Understanding your P&L

In My Positions, you'll see:

  • Total Balance — cash + invested value
  • Cash — available to bet or withdraw
  • Invested — current value of your open positions
  • Total P&L — how much you've gained or lost overall

Green = profit. Red = loss.

When do I get paid?

  • Market resolves in your favor → Your shares automatically convert to ₱1 each. The payout goes to your cash balance.
  • Market resolves against you → Your shares become worth ₱0. The invested amount is lost.
  • You sell before resolution → You get the current market price immediately.

Tips

  • Don't go all-in on one market. Spread across multiple bets to manage risk.
  • Watch the probability. Buying Yes at 90% means you risk ₱0.90 to win ₱0.10. The math needs to make sense.
  • Selling early is fine. If you've already made a good return, locking in profit is smart.
