How to Deposit Funds

Suri runs on crypto (USDC) but displays everything in PHP. Here's how to get money in.

The fastest path: GCrypto → Suri

If you already have GCash, this is the easiest way:

Step 1: Open GCash and go to GCrypto

  • Open your GCash app
  • Tap GCrypto (under Invest)
  • If you haven't set up GCrypto yet, follow their onboarding (takes 2 minutes)

Step 2: Buy USDC

  • In GCrypto, search for USDC
  • Buy the amount you want to deposit into Suri (minimum ₱100 recommended to start)
  • Pay with your GCash balance

Step 3: Send USDC to your Suri wallet

  • In Suri, go to Profile → Deposit → Transfer Crypto
  • Copy your Suri wallet address
  • Back in GCrypto, tap Withdraw on your USDC
  • Paste your Suri wallet address
  • Select Base network
  • Confirm the transfer

Step 4: Wait for confirmation

Transfers on Base network are fast — usually under 2 minutes. Your Suri balance will update automatically.

Already have crypto?

If you already have USDC, USDT, or ETH in an external wallet:

  1. Go to Profile → Deposit → Transfer Crypto
  2. Copy your Suri wallet address
  3. Send from your wallet on any supported network:

- Base (fastest, lowest fees — recommended) - Ethereum - Polygon - Arbitrum - Optimism

Important: Only send supported tokens (USDC, USDT, ETH). Sending other tokens may result in permanent loss.

How much should I deposit?

| Level | Amount | Good for | |---|---|---| | Just trying it out | ₱100–500 | A few small bets to learn | | Regular user | ₱500–2,000 | Active trading across multiple markets | | Power user | ₱2,000+ | Larger positions, market making |

Start small. You can always deposit more.

FAQ

Why crypto? Can't I just use GCash directly? Suri uses blockchain technology to make markets transparent and trustless. Crypto lets us settle bets instantly without relying on banks. We're working on making deposits even simpler in future updates.

What if I send to the wrong network? If you send on a supported network (Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism), your funds will arrive. If you send on an unsupported network, contact support — recovery may not be possible.

Is there a minimum deposit? No hard minimum, but we recommend at least ₱100 to have enough to place meaningful bets after any network fees.

Where are my funds stored? In your personal Suri wallet on the Base network. You control your wallet — Suri facilitates the trading interface.
